Here is a picture of Daryl at the Calgary Stampede, he was voted the "most deserving member" by his peers and had to go on stage at the Grandstand in front of over 20,000 people (pictured above). The only problem was that the Emcee pronounced his last name incorrectly. Interestingly, 5 of Daryl's relatives happened to be in the audience that evening to witness the momentous occasion.

Wow daryl, Tim and Dawn told us about seeing you on the grandstand. They were quite impressed. If my peers voted me to do that I would kill them, seeing as I would probably faint or throw-up infront of all those people.

The worst part waiting to be called up and all of the thoughts that go through your head (like what if I trip). Once they introduced me and the crowd cheered it was easy to walk out.
